Report on activities of the Electoral Literacy Club

Introduction: Electoral Literacy Club was founded on 14.01.2023 at the Governing Body meeting. The following members of the club were selected by the House-

Programmes:
1. A meeting with members was held on 15-12-2023.
2. The names of the student coordinators were proposed and finalised in a meeting on 07-02-2023
3. A meeting was held on 22-05-2023 and the house unanimously resolved that a meeting with all final semester students will be held on 03-11-2023 to enlighten the students of the electoral process.
4. A significant proportion of the students at the institution have yet to register their names on the voter's list. To address this, the electoral literacy club conducted an election awareness class on the 26th of June 2023 for new voters. Additionally, the electoral literacy club is planning to organize a voter registration camp on the college premises before the Puja vacation, specifically targeting the new voters of our college.
5. An awareness campaign for the coming Lok Sabha Election was held in the college campus in collaboration with the Onda Block Development Office on 28-03-2024.
